New E Buggy?

Postby DaveW on Sun Sep 21, 2014 6:40 pm

Im thinkin i wanna change chassis. Im lookin hard at the Mugen ECO. Its just another warmed over nitro buggy though. Looks like the only solid electric buggy is the Rango. Ugh...

If you were in my shoes what would you suggest?

Sworkz, Losi, Serpent, Tekno, Mugen Eco. These are all more than just conversions. The Mugen is borderline, but it does have a dedicated chassis plate, and does not rely on the nitro one like Kyosho or AE or any "off the shelf" conversion kit (which I use as an informal guideline for conversion or not).

If you can live with a conversion, a D812E would be an interesting choice.

Hey Dave, I have a Tekno V4 conversion for the RC8 sitting around somewhere. Never ran. It's missing a few odds and ends (servo mounts, screws, rx box lid, etc..), but throw me an offer and it's yours. I'll try and dig it up today.

My Ebuggy is up for grabs. It is in pretty good shape. Hasn't been ran too much. You also know what it is capable of.
