Plan on racing at B&T

Postby Razorbelly on Sun May 04, 2014 8:13 am

I'm heading to B&T this weekend. If you haven't been u owe it the yourself to try it out. The races are ran very well and are over before dark, competition is top notch also.

I am in Mobile also and was considering B&T on saturday. I have a B4.2, haven't raced in months and just moved here from Arkansas. What kind of tires are choice for the B&T track?

Thanks!

For that buggy, go with gridirons, megabites , DD's, 3D's or holeshots. Soft and Super Softs.

Didnt make it to B&T(weather). Went west to OSRC, ran the 2wd & 4wd SCT's and 1:8 buggy. The guys did a good job on setting the place up. It's a very small short course track. Doable (bad weather)for 2wd 1/10 scale trucks and smaller only,
It's a tiny, tiny track.

Other than 1/10 Mod 2wd buggy, what are the other classes that usually have good turnouts? Any mod 2wd stadium trucks? Or is 4wd buggy a bigger class than stadium truck. I don't really want to get back into the electric 1/8th scale. And I don't care for short course at all.

Thanks

Anybody out there with a pulse please respond. I drove a good ways for no racing last time, would like for that to not happen again.

I don't know about b&t, but osrc in ocean springs always has good showing for 2wd buggy ,2wd sc and 1/10 4x4 buggy. Stadium truck some times runs just need more people to bring them.

B&T usually has a turnout for 2WD Buggy and 4WD Buggy. (In addition to 4x4 SC, 2WD SC & 1/8 eBug)

The 4WD buggy at B&T is bigger than 2WD Stadium trucks, but bring it to B&T because sometimes there are enough to have a class for them.Classes big to small--#1Mod bug-4WD Bug-1/8 Bug-4WD SCT -2WD SCT- 2WD Stadium trucks. The weather looks good for this coming weekend for B&T.
