Anyone want to drift this weekend?

Postby Max-e-Mouse on Tue Aug 12, 2014 11:17 am

Body is painted and tested. Now it's time to make some rednecks and low country folks jealous.

Anyone want to run theirs this weekend!?!?!

The closest thing I have to a drifter is the HPI RS4 nitro.

However, I don't have the setup with regards to proper tires/gyros to make it drift.

The concept of drifting does look interesting and worth looking into at some point.

All I did to make the TC-4 Driftable is bought some 25 dollar drift slicks off e-bay. It slides well enough for my needs.

Cool I may have to try that.

I think I've seen some guys put tape on the tires - that might work too for a quick run.

The last 3 sets of drift wheels I had were a short length of PVC pipe hot glued to a throw away wheel. They have a lower coefficient of friction then the bought drift wheels so you can sling it sideways indefinitely. Those are cheap and infinite amounts of fun!
