This year the racing will be held indoors on carpet. Because of this, we're limiting the tire sauce to SXT 3.0. There will be bottles available at the event if you do not have any. The reason for the spec sauce is to prevent mixing of sauces in the carpet. When racers use different sauces, the track gets slimy and there's no traction for anyone. With everyone using the same sauce, a groove forms much faster. SXT is also an odorless compound and works well with the carpet that we'll be racing on.
Racers will need to bring
Pit table
Chair
Extension cords/Power strips
There is parking for trailers, but because of the race being indoors and the tight schedule that we have to maintain, it's requested that everyone pit indoors. It's the racers' responsibility to be on the track in time for their races. We won't have time to constantly stop and wait on people.
More info will be added to this post as it becomes available. If you plan on racing in a support class, please post in this thread so that we can get a count of drivers for each class. Minimum of 5 cars are needed for a class to be run.
Class Rules
**note** - minimum ride height allowed for all classes will be 3mm unless stated otherwise in the class rules. We will be checking this before the cars hit the track to make sure that nothing drags/snags the carpet.
